Contact Period
Designated times in the NCAA recruiting calendar when coaches are allowed to have in-person contact with recruits — visiting their homes, schools, or meeting at events. Outside of contact periods, coaches can only communicate by phone, text, or email. The recruiting calendar alternates between contact periods, evaluation periods, quiet periods, and dead periods.
