Early Signing Period

A three-day window in December when high school football recruits can sign their National Letter of Intent. Introduced in 2017, it has become the primary signing period — most top recruits now sign early rather than waiting for February's National Signing Day. NIL offers often intensify in the weeks leading up to this window.
