Official Visit

A recruit's trip to a college campus that is paid for by the school (travel, meals, lodging, game tickets). NCAA rules limit athletes to five official visits. These visits are a critical part of the recruiting process — and in the NIL era, recruits often meet with collective representatives during or around official visits.
