The University of Arkansas Razorbacks represent relentless competitive spirit and athletic dominance in Fayetteville. Since 1910, the "Razorbacks" nickname has embodied fierce determination, inspired by coach Hugo Bezdek’s description of the team playing "like a wild band of razorback hogs." Arkansas claims 52 NCAA team championships, with an exceptional men’s track and field program holding a remarkable 42 titles—including multiple National Triple Crowns. Arkansas won the 1994 men’s basketball NCAA championship and the 1964 football national title. Women’s track and field has excelled recently with nine NCAA championships since 2015. Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium stands as a fortress where fans unite in the spirited "Calling the Hogs" chant. Tusk VI, the live mascot, leads the charge, symbolizing resilience and pride. Razorback Nation continually pursues new heights, honoring a rich legacy in the Natural State.
