The University at Buffalo in New York represents a tenacious spirit and an expanding legacy of athletic achievement dating back to 1894. The Bulls' men’s basketball program has made significant strides, including four MAC championships between 2015 and 2019, and a memorable 2018 NCAA Tournament victory upsetting #4 seed Arizona. Under coaches Bobby Hurley and Nate Oats, the Bulls have broken into national AP rankings and stunned major programs, igniting Blue Pride. The women’s basketball team reached the 2018 Sweet Sixteen following multiple conference titles, demonstrating a culture of growing success. Football has celebrated conference championships and landmark victories, building a competitive football tradition. Buffalo has produced NFL standout Khalil Mack, an elite defender who set NCAA records. Wrestling claimed the 1978 NCAA Division III National Championship, while the cheerleading squad won a national championship in 1994. With vibrant mascots like Victor E.
