The Dartmouth Big Green embody excellence, tradition, and championship glory at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Since adopting “Dartmouth Green” in 1866 and the “Big Green” moniker in the 1970s, the program has built one of college athletics’ most distinctive legacies, demonstrating dominance amid New Hampshire’s mountains. Dartmouth’s athletic prowess includes four NCAA team championships with national titles in skiing (1958, 1976, 2007), highlighting its winter sports supremacy. Men’s golf claimed the 1921 national championship, and a historic undefeated 8-0 football season in 1925 marked a gridiron pinnacle. Track and field has produced 23 Olympians earning 13 Olympic medals, including four golds.
