The University of Mississippi Rebels have cultivated a proud and spirited athletic tradition in Oxford, Mississippi, since adopting the "Rebels" identity in 1936. The Rebels wear cardinal red and navy blue in fierce competition across multiple sports. Ole Miss baseball achieved its first men’s national championship in 2022, capturing the College World Series in a thrilling series against Oklahoma. The women’s golf program delivered its first NCAA title in 2021, marking a milestone in Ole Miss sports history. Across the program, there are 29 individual NCAA champions, including Olympic medalists such as Brittney Reese and Raven Saunders. The school’s passionate traditions include the iconic "Hotty Toddy" cheer, The Grove gameday experience known for its southern hospitality and electrifying atmosphere, and Tony the Landshark mascot inspiring athletes and fans. Ole Miss continues to blend vibrant tradition with competitive excellence in the heart of the South.
