Teresa Zarzeczny Bell won silver in rowing at Atlanta 1996, and Bob Jaugstetter rowed at Los Angeles 1984 after being named to the 1980 team that did not race because of the U.S. boycott. Mike Bantom played basketball at Munich 1972 on the U.S. team that refused its silver medals. International Hawks include rower Sean Drea of Ireland (1972, 1976), and basketball players Megan Compain of New Zealand (2000, 2004) and Jana Lichnerova of Slovakia (2000).
Michael J. Hagan '85 Arena seats 4,200 for basketball. Soccer and lacrosse use Sean Sweeney '94 Field, and field hockey plays at Ellen Ryan Field, which opened in 2011. Baseball plays at John W. Smithson '68 Field. The Maguire Athletic Center, introduced in 2025, adds an indoor training space. Rowers work out of the Robert Gillin '49 Boathouse on the Schuylkill.
