CPM (Cost Per Thousand)
A standard advertising metric — the cost an advertiser pays per 1,000 impressions of their content. In NIL, CPM helps determine what a sponsored post is worth based on the athlete's audience size. If an athlete's post gets 100,000 impressions and the brand's CPM target is $10, that post is worth roughly $1,000. Higher engagement rates command higher CPMs.
