Team Profile
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs embody a legacy of hockey dominance, the rugged spirit of the North Shore, and a powerful tradition of winning national championships from their home in Duluth, Minnesota. The university's modern identity has been forged in the crucible of Division I men's ice hockey, where the Bulldogs have created a modern-day dynasty, capturing three NCAA National Championships, including back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019. This incredible success builds on the foundation laid by the women's hockey program, a legendary dynasty that won five of the first ten NCAA championships ever awarded and has produced a steady stream of Olympians. The Bulldogs' championship culture extends to the gridiron, where the Division II football team has established its own powerhouse legacy, capturing two NCAA National Championships and consistently ranking among the nation's elite. The state-of-the-art AMSOIL Arena, on the shores of Lake Superior, serves as the fortress for Bulldog hockey, home to one of the most passionate and knowledgeable fanbases in the sport. The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are a true championship institution, a program defined by a tough, Northern spirit that has proven, time and again, its ability to win the ultimate prize at the highest levels of collegiate sports.
