Team Profile
The Siena College Saints embody a passionate community, a giant-killer spirit, and proud Franciscan tradition in New York's Capital Region. Siena is defined by its storied men's basketball program, renowned for its history of dramatic March Madness upsets, including shocking victories over Stanford (1989), Vanderbilt (2008), and Ohio State (2009). Playing at the downtown MVP Arena, the Saints boast one of the most formidable home-court advantages in mid-major basketball, consistently drawing massive crowds that transform the venue into a sea of green and gold. As a perennial power in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), the Saints have captured numerous conference championships. The tradition of success extends to men's lacrosse, a program that has also won multiple MAAC titles and competed on the national stage. Fueled by the fervent support of "Siena Nation," the Saints represent the power of a small school with big ambitions, forever ready to take on the giants of college sports.
