Team Profile
St. Bonaventure University in Western New York embodies Franciscan values and championship spirit. The Bonnies’ brown and white colors reflect humility and dedication, anchored by the Bona Wolf mascot. The men’s basketball program has historic NCAA tournament success, including a 1970 Final Four and 1977 NIT Championship with NBA Hall of Famer Bob Lanier. The women’s basketball team posted a perfect Atlantic 10 season in 2012, reaching the Sweet 16. Swimming and diving dominance extend through Atlantic 10 championships, alongside a rapidly emerging men’s lacrosse program. The Bonnies’ athletic excellence spans basketball, swimming, lacrosse, and more, with representation in Olympics and Paralympics. The Reilly Center serves as their home of champions, where community pride and hard work define success.
