Wake Forest University’s Demon Deacons embody grit, tradition, and competitive excellence in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since adopting the “Demon Deacons” name in 1923, Wake Forest has captured 11 NCAA championships including men’s basketball and golf titles. The men’s basketball “Cardiac Pack” 1983 NCAA title remains legendary. Women’s field hockey, men’s soccer, men’s tennis, and women’s golf contribute to a broad championship culture. Carter-Finley Stadium and Joel Coliseum are vibrant home venues cultivating spirited fan engagement. The mascot Demon Deacon embodies fighting tenacity and Christian values.
