Quintrevion Wisner

Quintrevion Wisner is one of the most dynamic young running backs in college football, emerging as a key offensive force for the Texas Longhorns through his blend of burst, balance, and production against elite SEC competition. Known for his acceleration through the hole, yards-after-contact ability, and natural feel in space, Wisner has become a central figure in Texas’ offensive identity.

A native of Glenn Heights, Texas, Wisner developed at DeSoto High School, one of the state’s premier programs. As a senior, he totaled over 1,300 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns while helping DeSoto capture a state championship. His versatility as both a runner and receiver made him a four-star recruit, and he chose Texas over several national powers, including Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Wisner made an immediate impact after arriving in Austin, appearing in all 14 games as a freshman in 2023 and scoring his first collegiate touchdown against Texas Tech. His sophomore season marked a breakout, as he rushed for 1,064 yards, added 311 receiving yards, and scored six total touchdowns. He recorded four 100-yard rushing games and consistently delivered in high-pressure SEC matchups, solidifying his role as a featured back.

Wisner’s strengths include explosive acceleration, fluid vision, reliable hands out of the backfield, and toughness finishing runs. During his junior season, he has continued that trajectory with multiple high-efficiency performances, including a 155-yard outing against Texas A&M. Off the field, Wisner is respected for his humility, work ethic, and leadership within the program.
