The Nevada Wolf Pack embody the spirit of Nevada and the University of Nevada, Reno, competing with drive in the Mountain West Conference wearing navy blue and silver. Since 1896, the Wolf Pack have built a distinguished athletics program highlighted by nine Olympic athletes in swimming and diving, including silver medalist Liu Limin (1996), and bronze medalists Lise Mackie (1996) and Krysta Palmer (2020). Under coach Jian Li You, a former Chinese Olympian and U.S. coach, Nevada has developed world-class talent. Legendary athletes in multiple sports have won individual NCAA championships, inspiring Wolf Pack determination. Mackay Stadium offers a fortress where mascots Alphie, Wolfie Jr., and Luna lead 30,000 fans in passionate support. The Lawlor Events Center and multiple campus venues showcase the Olympic-caliber atmosphere and championship culture.
