Legendary mascots Aggie and Aggietha energize a community steeped in tradition and ambition. The men’s basketball program dominated during the 1980s with seven consecutive MEAC tournament titles, while the bowling team made history by winning the 2015 United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championship in its debut appearance. Facilities like Truist Stadium and the Ellis F. Corbett Sports Center foster a culture of championship excellence.
