Team Profile
The Pepperdine University Waves embody a tradition of national championships, the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, and the competitive spirit of their world-famous Malibu home. As one of the most successful and well-rounded athletic departments in the nation, Pepperdine has captured a remarkable nine NCAA Division I team national championships across five different sports, creating an unparalleled legacy of victory. This dynasty of success is highlighted by a men's volleyball program that has won five national titles and a legendary baseball team that conquered the 1992 College World Series. The Waves' trophy case also includes national championships in men's tennis, men's golf, and men's water polo, a testament to a university-wide commitment to competing at the highest level. As a flagship institution of the West Coast Conference, Pepperdine also boasts a proud basketball history with over a dozen trips to the NCAA Tournament, played inside the historic Firestone Fieldhouse. The Pepperdine Waves represent a unique brand of excellence, a program where a championship culture is as natural and powerful as the ocean waves crashing just below campus.
