The Southeastern Louisiana Lions and Lady Lions represent Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond with a tradition of resilience and championship ambition. Competing in the Southland Conference across 14 varsity sports, the Lions excel particularly in track and field, winning the 1975 NAIA men’s outdoor national championship and defending national titles in cheerleading with the 2024 UCA Open Co-Ed Game Day championship.
