Team Profile
The University of South Florida Bulls symbolize strength and competitive spirit in Tampa, Florida. Since 1965, USF athletics have embraced the Golden Brahman mascot, demonstrating resilience and pride across 20 varsity programs. The women’s swimming team captured the 1985 NCAA championship, a landmark in USF’s athletic history, while sailing has produced multiple ICSA titles under Olympic gold medalist Allison Jolly. Football ascended rapidly, reaching #2 nationally in 2007 and producing standout players like Quinton Flowers. Basketball achieved a program-best 25-8 record with a first regular-season conference title in 2024. The Bulls continue expanding championship traditions in women’s basketball and sailing. USF Olympians number over 20, winning medals in multiple sports, elevating the program’s global reputation. The ongoing rivalry with UCF and the Rowdies Cup soccer battles energize fan enthusiasm.
