Team Profile
The William & Mary Tribe represents the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a proud heritage of excellence, tradition, and championship achievement. Competing in NCAA Division I as members of the Coastal Athletic Association, the Tribe field 21 varsity sports donned in green, gold, and silver, energized by mascot Griffin “Reveley.” William & Mary boasts more CAA conference championships than any other school with over 160 total titles. The men’s cross country and track & field teams have a rich history, including 14 consecutive NCAA appearances and Olympic runner Brian Hyde among their alumni. Iconic venues like historic Zable Stadium and Kaplan Arena host vibrant competition and championship aspirations. The Tribe consistently develop Olympians and international competitors across multiple disciplines, while producing NFL legends such as Mike Tomlin, Sean McDermott, and Darren Sharper, as well as media icon Jon Stewart.
