Are you Makel Green?
Makel Green, a dedicated defensive end, represents the Trojans at Troy University. Known for their tireless work ethic, Green spends countless hours in the weight room and on the practice field, honing their skills to contribute effectively to the Trojans' defense. As a defensive end, Makel's primary responsibilities include pressuring the quarterback and setting the edge against opposing running games. This critical role demands not only physical prowess but also a deep understanding of the game, which Green continuously develops through film study and practice.
Within the Trojans’ defensive unit, Makel Green is positioned to disrupt the opposing offense. They operate in a position group that emphasizes agility and strength, required for both pass-rushing and run-stopping duties. This dual responsibility means Green must be versatile, adapting their technique based on the offensive schemes faced each week. The coaching staff relies on Green to lead by example, especially during challenging moments in games where resilience is crucial.
As part of a competitive roster, Green faces a demanding schedule filled with high-stakes matchups that test their skills and mental toughness. Away from the field, they balance a rigorous academic program with a commitment to community service, volunteering at youth camps to inspire the next generation of athletes.
