As one of the largest single-sport organizations in American college athletics, the CWPA provides automated qualification pathways to the NCAA Water Polo Championship, establishes standardized competitive scheduling, and operates extensive postseason championship tournaments. Its long-standing tradition has made it a foundational cornerstone for the growth and development of competitive water polo outside of the West Coast.
