The Great Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC), formerly known as the Golden State Athletic Conference until its historic rebranding, is a premier athletic conference affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Established in 1986 and historically anchored in California, the GSAC adapted to shifting collegiate landscapes by expanding heavily into Arizona and the desert Southwest. This transition solidified the league as a regional powerhouse for NAIA Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball.
