The Northeast-10 Conference (NE10)
The Northeast-10 Conference is the "Academic and Athletic Gold Standard" of the American Northeast, a premier NCAA Division II alliance that embodies the elite, high-performance culture of New England and New York. Headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts, the NE10 is defined by an identity of "Scholarly Strength and Championship Pedigree," comprising a collection of prestigious private institutions and major public universities. Stretching from the historic campuses of Greater Boston and the coastal reaches of New Hampshire to the urban centers of Connecticut and Long Island, the NE10 is a sanctuary of "Intellectual Grit." In this league, the student-athlete experience is refined and professional, producing graduates who lead in the boardroom and athletes who dominate on the national stage.
The conference’s soul is anchored in its status as a National Powerhouse in the "Spring and Winter Gauntlets." The NE10 is arguably the most dominant league in the country for Lacrosse and Field Hockey, where programs like Adelphi, Pace, and Bentley are perennial fixtures in the national championship conversation. On the basketball court, the NE10 is a "Tactical Masterclass," characterized by a disciplined, high-IQ style of play. From the storied success of Saint Anselm and Southern New Hampshire (SNHU) to the rising dominance of Bentley and Assumption, the league turns the "NE10 Championships" into a high-stakes showcase of fundamental excellence and late-game heroics.
